As part of the AquaSphere project of the EIT Higher Education Initiative, which aims to strengthen innovation ecosystems, promote technology transfer, and build entrepreneurship capacity in higher education, AquaSphere is hosting a free two-hour virtual information session: Introduction to the Water Innovators Academy and IDEAs Accelerator.
Open to participants worldwide and fully funded by the European Union, this session will offer an accessible entry point into the Academy and Accelerator frameworks developed through the AquaSphere project – equipping participants with the knowledge needed to strengthen their innovation capacity and support sustainable growth in the Blue Economy and Maritime sectors.
This session will offer:
- Access to Blue Economy and Maritime innovation development materials
- Key points of learning from the Water Innovators Academy modules
- An overview of the AquaSphere IDEAs Accelerator aimed at supporting business development
Topics covered will include: Blue Economy and Maritime Innovation Management; Technology Transfer in Maritime Sectors; Startup Support for Water Technologies; Industry–Academia Collaboration; Innovation Space Design; and Inclusive Innovation Practices.
A Microsoft Teams link will be sent to registered participants prior to the event. Participants are welcome to join five minutes before the session begins.
