
On 19 November 2025, AquaSphere successfully launched the first edition of the AquaVenture Bootcamp–Workshop: Navigating Blue Innovation, held at the IZTECH Engineering Faculty Meeting Hall. This inaugural session marked a key milestone for the project, showcasing strong student participation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and tangible interest in Blue Innovation.
Participants included undergraduate and graduate students, startup founders, and early-career professionals, creating a multidisciplinary environment that supported collaboration. The workshop introduced methodologies related to Blue Innovation, maritime technologies, and sustainability-oriented entrepreneurship.
Early feedback shows high student engagement, a growing interest in blue-economy innovation, and motivation to explore entrepreneurial pathways in water and maritime-related technologies. Several participants also expressed interest in joining upcoming project activities, mentoring sessions, and innovation challenges.
A second session of the Bootcamp was held on 21.11.2025, reinforcing continuity, community-building, and measurable skills development among participants.
This initiative has already demonstrated clear value in awareness-building, capacity development, and fostering an innovation mindset aligned with AquaSphere’s objectives.
